Ang Chiang Meng
Managing Director
Chiang Meng co-founded R&O Company to address the increasing demand for sophisticated corporate and debt solutions which are customised and comprehensive for increasingly complex markets.
Chiang Meng is an experienced banker with deep special situations experience. He spent his career involved in origination, structuring, restructuring, execution and enforcement of numerous bilateral and syndicated loan and bond transactions of over US$10 billion.
Chiang Meng has served on the board of numerous private and listed companies across various jurisdictions. In Singapore, he is a Senior Accredited Director, a Certified Practising Management Consultant and Chartered Valuer and Appraiser.
Solomon Tan
Managing Director
Solomon is a co-founder of R&O Company and is experienced in corporate finance and treasury.
He has served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive or Independent Director for numerous public and private companies. He has vast experience working with global private equity funds in various capacities and played key roles in various restructuring initiatives, capital raises, and complex corporate exercises.
His expertise spans merger and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, syndicated loans, and bond issuances.
Solomon is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore, Australia and New Zealand, and an Accredited Director in Singapore.
Natasya
Director, Head of Indonesia
Natasya is a CFA charterholder and leads the firm’s operations in Indonesia.
She has strong experience in market entry, investments, banking, finance/accounting and capital markets. She is also well versed in the regulatory and compliance requirements in Indonesia and has assisted both local and foreign clients in navigating complex financial and tax reporting issues in Indonesia.
Natasya has worked with an EM-focused private equity fund, a global bank and various global consultancy and advisory firms.
Jazel Ang
Director, Head of Compliance
Jazel is responsible for regulatory compliance across jurisdictions that R&O Company operates in which includes anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing provisions. She is experienced in engaging with the local regulators, conducting compliance trainings and managing complex know your customers and client onboarding processes.
Jazel also advises clients on corporate secretarial matters, regulatory compliance and corporate governance.
Mona Liu
Director, Head of China
Mona is a PRC-qualified lawyer with over a decade of experience in assisting clients with China-related cross-border matters, including private equity, debt capital markets, special situations, and outbound direct investments.
Mona had represented a diverse client base, including international and local banks, private equity funds, multinational corporations, state-owned enterprises, government and regulatory bodies across a range of industries.
Prior to R&O Company, Mona honed her skills with a global risk advisory firm.
Diadre Phuah
Director, Head of Operations
Diadre oversees the Group’s day to day affairs and maintains close relationships with our clients including various financial institutions and funds.
She is experienced in corporate finance, treasury, special situations including listings, credit origination, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, capital structure, liquidity management and tax structuring.
Prior to R&O Company, Diadre worked with several Asian conglomerates focused on managing their global business interests spanning across industries such as shipping, energy, infrastructure, gaming, and entertainment.
Victoria Yip
General Counsel
Victoria was formerly a lawyer at a top tier US law firm in Hong Kong, specialising in capital markets and corporate finance. She has extensive experience in acting for private equity funds, financial institutions and international corporations on merger acquisitions, capital raising and complex corporate exercises involving both the public and private markets.
Victoria is admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong and graduated with both law and accounting degrees.
Chris Kho
Director, Head of Corporate and Accounting Services
Chris Kho heads up R&O Company’s corporate and accounting services team.
Chris specialises in management accounting, financial reporting, tax and financial planning and analysis, and honed his skills navigating complex financial and tax reporting regimes across various industries within Asia. He is also experienced in designing and implementing digital solutions to streamline and optimise financial and cash management processes.
Prior to R&O Company, Chris led the finance functions for numerous private and public companies.
Sonia Gan
Director, Head of Wealth
Sonia heads R&O’s wealth practice, working with funds, family offices, and prominent families on research, investment structures, portfolio deployment and optimisation.
She advises on capital allocation across private and public markets, fund formation and structuring, co-investment opportunities, and the ongoing monitoring and value-creation work that keeps a portfolio performing through cycles.
Sonia holds a Master of Science in Financial Economics from Trinity College, University of Oxford, and a First-Class Honours degree in Economics from University College London, which she attended as a Singapore Government Scholar. She is an accredited director in Singapore.
